While in the process of evolving into it's final form (whatever form that will be, only the person in charge of tweaking and processing can tell), pixelcatalyst.lair v540 morphed into none other than... a winamp skin, courtesy of Ms. Diwa Fernandez, fondly known to the graphics community as poetess.  An interview featuring her which was released a few weeks ago can be accessed here.

PIXELAMP PLASTIQUE features an interface which is almost liquid in its sleekness, and 'plasticity'.  Within the intricacy and meticulousness by which it was created can be seen the gun-metal gray bevel which characterizes pixelcatalyst's v540 in its present form, as well as certain elements inferred by the creator herself from the sites interface.

"pixelAMP is done basically to suit the current design and layout of the site of pixelcatalyst.  The idea came up to me with ease.  Using the name plastic (or plastique) is already in the url.  Although, I don't know what to say much since the skin speaks for itself."

Directions:

1.  Download file.
2.  Save to your winamp\skins directory.
3.  Run winamp and press Alt-S
4.  Click 'Set skins directory...'
5.  Figure out the rest...

This skin is quite sensitive to sappy songs.
