Well, themes are not something Breed really does often. In fact, our Eros pack was our only themed release so far. That themed pack was released as sort of a Valentines day related pack. We do have plans for more themed packs in the future though.
Your main source of inspirations... as a group and individuals
bryan
As a group I think our motivation and inspiration might just be to maintain the reputation we have as an amazing art group. We keep on going because of the public's response to our packs. I get complimented on the group's packs after every release and I find it very inspiring...Im sure this holds true with every member of Breed.
necron
As a group, we focus very much on the world around us. World conflict and problems always have our utmost attention. We have only done one themed pack, EROS, which was about love, and all that comes with it. I enjoyed working on it, especially concerning the aftermath of my break-up. It really released a lot that i kept inside.
As far as personal issue are concerned, i focus on things that happen in my everyday life, at school, at work, among friends and so forth. Anything that affects me in any way contributes to build a piece of art, be it digital or traditional.
Are there times when depression becomes the motivation to create?
necron
Yes, indeed. I am an artist with a very "dark" flavor in art. Depressive art is what i make, i can`t remember the last time a made a bright and happy piece. The motivation to create something can come at any given moment, it`s just about getting it expressed. If something really troubles me, i make something.
bryan
As far as individual inspiration goes, it varies with each member. We release a variety of art, from dark and depressing to light and upbeat. I'm sure depression plays a large role in what breed artists create but I also think it would be safe to say that many of the images are made to express happiness. I know that just being in Breed with such talented artists inspires me to challenge myself and work harder on what I make. I think this is true for most any artist in any community.
What changes do you expect BREED to undertake in the near future?
bryan
Breed has a ton of changes up it's sleeve for the near future. Some of the reasons I can only touch on (to keep them secret). Right now we are focusing heavily on expanding and varying our audience.
Also, we have established our skin and music divisions in Breed. In the future we would really like to get these parts going strong as separate entities instead of groups within Breed. More self sufficient with their own group leaders and activities...
As I mentioned earlier, we plan on doing some more themed packs. Every meeting we discuss how we could release themed packs without interfering with our normal packs. We will get it sorted out soon so you can expect some more themes shortly.
We also have some other exciting ideas brewing up which include a Breed store. We have been throwing the idea of T-Shirt ideas around for awhile and we are trying to get that underway. We would also like to expand to posters and prints some time soon as well. All of this takes a lot of planning and work but it's something we want to do for sure.
Who or what does BREED create for, as a whole?

We create to bring down the man!
revo
We promote breast cancer among the worlds hunger to try to cut down on consumption of natural resources.

I think that our *goal* is to scare and frighten the heathen masses.
necron
Actually, were an illegal underground sex group that BREEDs children and sells them to the mining industry.

Anyone we can touch/offend/fuck with is a plus. And whatever necron (or any of 'em, for that matter) tells you - I am not breeding with the males of breed. ;) *hides a little rug rat under her skirt and grins*
bryan
As you can see, we all have our different ideas as to what Breed creates for. I think that breed is simply here to deliver each artist's talents to anyone and everyone who wants to see or hear what we offer. So as a whole I think our main goal is promoting the many forms of art we create.
