Well, i had only been in the online art community for a few months, but i already felt community sites were not my kind of thing. They werent offering me anything interesting really. I was (and to some extent, still am) evolving. So naturally i was looking for a place where i could learn, and experiment freely.
I had known iamall for quite some time, and i made up my mind to send him an email concerning membership, since Breed was the only artgroup i felt comfortable with at the time. He kept me posted throughout the process, even though i wasnt really counting on recieving membership. But, i passed, and Janne (iamall) has been making fun of me ever since, saying that the day i joined was the "go nuts and accept everyone day" of the year, so i had gotten lucky.
how did it change you...?
necron
Breed has changed me a lot since i joined them in early october. I can`t even begin to list the things i`ve learned. It altered my aspect on art, and related issues. I don`t think it has changed my character much, besides the fact that i`ve matured a bit.

I've recently been in meetings and discussions with top scientists all over the world in order to figure out the significance of the implant. At this time, the purpose/function of said implant is still unbeknownst to me.
how does breed affect your love life? (LOL)
necron
It`s funny you should ask that question, it changed me quite a bit actually. You see, a few weeks before we released our 12th pack, a girl i had been going out with for some time suddenly dumped me for no perticular reason. I was sad and depressed, but at the same time pissed off. So naturally, it was reflected in my art. Some of the guys noticed, and we talked about life and women and all the troubles that comes with it.
Give us some interesting tidbits about breed and its members...
necron
Hehe, you want dirty parts huh? Well, Annie and Scree are our supreme masters. Scree being the master of web, and Annie being our Queen mother. All the other members are simply known as "Bitches of Breed", BoB. Skrath used to be our official asshole. Nuvem is simply known as God, but he`s taking a break, so there`s chaos in the Breed universe.
Iamall poses as a gameshow host, and tells people they are "out of credits and will have to turn the wheel please". Naomi was recently selected as division head in our new "massage division". Certain members were drunk when the pack name "Photon Soup" was decided. x0rcist drools whenever he sees something sick and repulsive. Apple Computers love us. Sevenflow has been mistaken for a band. Vida was imported illegaly.
Well, we have a million stories to tell. Meet us on irc sometime for more exiting facts ;)
how does it feel like being the only talented female among so many talented males?
anniex0r
[since pack 13, we have had Naomi in the group... albeit talented, she's not really all that active and so far we've only seen 2 pieces from her... In any case, I'm technically not the only one now :P]
It's not like we really compare talent, especially on any sort of gender-related basis.
There are tons of talented females in the world; I don't think we differ any from talented males other than in certain representations and feelings. I mean, women will always be slightly different from men, but I think the actual *idea* of talent/art is a one of a kind, universal/unisex kind of thing.
Would you say that it's an advantage or a disadvantage being the only woman in breed?
anniex0r
Well, I was crowned the "Queen Mother of Breed." I guess it could be an advantage, i think it's pretty average/normal though, inside the group anyway. All of my friends are guys, so I'm used to getting picked on and whatnot. ;) I do sometimes, however, feel as though things might be seen a little differently outside the group, but, for the most part, I just consider myself one of the guys. I mean, I drink Guinness, play Xbox, drive too fast, watch Junkyard Wars, etc. and usually I agree when someone says, "Girls suck". I like to pretend I'm obliviously omnipotent. ;)
being so, do you feel any pressure whatsoever in representing the female gender in an all male art group?
anniex0r
None whatsoever. I think the female gender has enough representation elsewhere.
which breed member would you want to see castrated?
anniex0r
Ouch! I don't know if I would wish that upon any of them. Buzzhog is no longer with us, so I can't say as I'd would want to see the castration of any of my fellow breeders. ;)
Where do you see breed five years from now?
necron
As an international graphics corporation, with the employees earning 6 figure salaries each year. No, on a more serious scale, here what i think: We have undergone some major changes during the last few months, and we are still changing a lot. I think we might be making money out of it, but to be totally honest, i have no idea how far this is going to go, and where or if it will end.
anniex0r
By then we should have colonized on mars, living in fetus trees, selling cheap "Breedart" tshirts with outrageous shipping charges to our fans back on earth.
